Welcome to the Glasgow University Sub-Aqua Club!

GUSAC is a special branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), and is open to all students and staff members of the University of Glasgow, whether you have never dived in your life but want to give it a try or are a seasoned diver with hundreds of dives under your weightbelt. We also welcome new members who have qualified with other dive agencies (such as PADI, NAUI or CMAS), but you will need to ‘cross-over’ to BSAC to be able to dive with us (see the Training section for more information).

As SCUBA divers, we dive all around the Scottish coast from the Firth of Clyde, Loch Long and Loch Fyne, to sites that are a bit further afield like the Summer Isles near Ullapool, Scapa Flow in the Orkney Islands or the Farne Islands in Northumberland. As a BSAC club we also have access to events that are organised at a regional or national level, including a great variety of Skill Development Courses and some more adventurous dive trips too!

To find out more about our club, how we operate and some of the places we dive and some of the types of events we run please feel free to have a look around the website. If you need more information or want to talk to us directly, you can contact one of the committee members, or alternatively come down and meet us in Dram on any Tuesday night during term time from about 9.00pm onwards.

Within the University, we are affiliated with both the Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) and Sport and Recreation Service (SRS).
